Yogalates fuses the physical and mental aspects of both Yoga and Pilates into one amazing workout! Since both Yoga and Pilates have an emphasis on practicing postures, correct breathing techniques and mindfulness they form the perfect combination.
In our Yogalates practice, you will find that we combine the parts of yoga that focus on enhanced mind and body awareness, strength, stamina, flexibility and balance, with the Pilates techniques that focus on improving posture and creating a strong, stable foundation for movement.
You will stretch, strengthen and tone all the major muscle groups, learn to breathe correctly and functionally, strengthen your core and develop a healthy spine. We will teach you to execute each pose or exercise with complete awareness of the body and the way it moves and functions. Not only will you benefit physically, you will also benefit mentally from the inclusion of restorative yoga techniques.
Our instructor, Amalia has created her own unique blend of Yoga and Pilates that will leave you feeling, stronger, healthier and more relaxed!
