What is Yoga?

The word yoga means to unite or harmonise, this means that the activity of yoga involves working towards a level where the activities of the mind and body can function together harmoniously. Yoga moves beyond physical fitness and moves into mental fitness whereby it creates a state of mental calmness and emotional stability.

These relaxing yet invigorating Yoga sessions focus on a system of exercises that aim to stretch, strengthen, tone and align the whole body. The style of yoga is Vinyasa / Hatha and is aimed at all levels. You can expect a variety of stretching and strengthening yoga sequences that include standing flows and mat work.
