What is online personal training?

Have you heard the phrase online training being used more and more but have no idea what this actually means?

Online personal training is taking the world by storm and it has fast become a more affordable and convenient approach for providing clients with personal training services. How many times have you battled to get your busy schedule to match with that of a personal trainer or had to cancel a session due to a family emergency or a last-minute meeting at work? Online personal eliminates these problems and instead puts you in control of your training schedule, allowing you the flexibility to train anywhere, anytime. Your customised workout plans are sent directly to your through our mobile app. This app allows you to access your workout anytime, anywhere, track stats and follow workouts with instructional videos right on your mobile device. It doesn’t get more convenient than that! 

Okay…So how does it work?

You will be required to fill in a form that provides us with the information that we need to create a workout plan that meets your needs and goals. Your workout plan will be delivered to you via our mobile app (you will be able to download the app from your app store) or you can access your account via your computers browser. Here you can access your workout plan, track your results and chat with your trainer. Notifications are sent to you to remind you what workouts you need to complete, so that you are always on track and stay committed to your training.

Every time you check-in on a workout, your trainer will be notified which means they will know if you have missed a workout.  You will be able to track completed workouts, log body stats and add progress photos and sync your wearable data allowing you and your trainer to comprehensively track your results and progress.

Okay sounds good, but how will I learn how to do the exercises properly?

You will be provided with videos that show how to correctly perform any exercise included in your plan.  This is a great tool to use for assuring you are using correct form on each of your exercises to maximize results.  You are also able to record a video of yourself performing an exercise and send it to your trainer. Your trainer will then be able to review your actual form as if they were actually there beside and provide you with feedback to ensure that you are properly performing the exercises.

Great…so why would I choose this over face-to-face training?

You may be sceptical about the idea of having an online personal trainer, because you aren’t sure how effective it can really be. Well I am here to tell you that the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. With the convenience of being able to train anywhere, anytime while being able to track your progress and easily communicate with your trainer at any time, what’s not to love?
